Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mike. We're so happy to hear you're planning another Disney vacation!
Experiencing the Walt Disney World Resort with a big family is sure to be BIG fun. I traveled with my extended family of 14 a few years ago, and we had the very best time. Strategically planning our
dining reservations and
FastPass+ selections meant that we were able to experience the magic of the theme parks
together!
You'll absolutely want to link your family members to your
Family & Friends list on
My Disney Experience. Once you have everyone linked, you'll be able to make and share vacation plans together! Unfortunately, you will not be able to select FastPass+ experiences for your family members who are staying offsite when
your booking window opens up 60-days prior to your arrival date.
Early access to FastPass+ planning is a benefit only offered to Guests of Disney Resort hotels. You'll be able to select FastPass+ experiences for the Guests in your Family & Friends list who have a Disney Resort hotel reservation 60-days ahead of time, but you'll need to wait until 30-days ahead of time to make selections for the Guests on your list who are staying offsite.
While you may not find the
exact same FastPass+ availability at the 30-day mark that you found at the 60-day mark, there's no need to fret! If you're hoping to experience FastPass+ attractions with the entire family, aim to schedule FastPass+ windows that overlap. For example, if you booked a specific FastPass+ for your onsite family members for 5:00 PM and the same attraction for your offsite family members for 5:45 PM, you'll have a 15-minute window that will allow everyone to enter the FastPass+ queue at the same time!
I hope this was helpful, Mike. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
