Hiya Chambolyn and welcome back to planDisney!
The only thing better than a reservation at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is 2 reservations at different Disney Resorts Collection hotels. And between you and me, having a little space on a big family vacation keeps the magic intact for so much longer.
A dip in the pool is the perfect way to take an afternoon break from the theme parks or spend a rest day on your vacation. Of course, with your family all spread out, it makes sense that you would wonder if y'all can come together for a pool day. Unfortunately, the pools at each Disney Resort Collection hotel are only supposed to be used by Guests of that particular hotel. But there are definitely some other ways a family could dive into the magic together.
1.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park is primed and ready for action for any family visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth. You can all meet up there to tackle Miss Adventure Falls or cruise the waterways of Castaway Creek together.
2.
Advanced Dining Reservations are the perfect way to sit down and interact with your family at both hotels. Book meals at the hotels you're staying at so you can visit each other and experience the best each hotel has to offer. For example, a family split up across Disney's Riviera Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort could have breakfast one day at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and dinner on a different day at
Ale & Compass Restaurant.
Chambolyn, even though y'all can't swim together you can still make a splash at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!
Happy planning!
Taylor
