My family will be staying at Coronado Springs next week. We would like to go to the Ft Wilderness campfire. Will busses be running to get us back to CS after the festivities? Should we consider the Port Orleans campfire?

    Heidi:

Unfortunately at  Disney, there are no buses that run from resort to resort.

Your best bet is to take a bus from Coronado Springs to Magic Kingdom and then switch to the boat to Fort Wilderness.  Once you land at the pier you can walk about 50 yards to the internal bus stop at The Settlement (there will be signs, albeit small).  Hop on orange line that will stop at the Meadows Trading Post.  The campfire is right behind the Meadows.

Although this sounds a little complicated, I don't know that going to Port Orleans from CS will be any better, as your quickest route may be to take a bus to Disney Studios and then transfer to a bus to Port Orleans....it would save you the hassle of transfering to the internal buses at Fort Wilderness, but I'm a bit biased to the fort!

If it was me, I might consider just taking a cab!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
