Me and my family will be staying at the Contemp.resort in 12/2010. To visit AK and DHS parks do we take the monrail to tranport. center and catch a bus or can we catch a bus at the resort to take us too these parks? I am reading diff. answers on the panel?

    Hi Amanda!
Great question. You could certainly do either, but I would stick with taking the bus from the Contemporary directly to Animal Kingdom or Disney's Hollywood Studios. The good thing about the Contemporary is that there is only one bus stop right outside te front entrance, so the buses pick up guests and make one quick stop each at the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. I believe the conflict in answers probably arose from panelists not knowing if you minded stopping once each at the other resorts, or going to the TTC and catching a direct bus. I'm not a fan of taking the monorail just to then still have to catch a bus. I'm all for getting on the bus and getting off the bus once. I hoipe this helps to clarify things a bit. Have a memorable vacation! :)
