Hello! My family and I are staying in the Cars Suite at Art of Animation. On our day of check out we have an 8 am breakfast reservation at Ohana. What time should we leave the resort to make it in time? Also can we grab a bus to the airport from there?

Hi Amara! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sounds like you and I could be good friends since you are talking two of my favorite things…Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at ‘Ohana! While you are dining at ‘Ohana make sure to try the juice. In my opinion it is simply out of this world and my kids and I can’t get enough of it!

Since your dining reservation is quite early my guess is that the Complimentary Resort Transportation will not be running in enough time to get you to your reservation on time. If I were you I would call a cab to take you to breakfast if you do not have a car on site. If you are taking a cab I would allow approximately 45-50 minutes to arrive to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and then to check in to ‘Ohana. I have to throw in a little disclaimer here that Disney does recommend allowing up to 90 minutes for transportation within the Walt Disney World Resort especially when relying on the Complimentary Resort Transportation.

You will not be able to catch a Disney’s Magical Express bus from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. You have to board the bus from the Resort hotel that you are staying at. Typically you will be picked up approximately three hours before your flight departure time if you are flying on a domestic flight.

I hope that I have helped to answer your question! Please feel free to stop back any time with any additional vacation planning questions that you may have! Have an Unforgettable time!
