My family and I are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort from June 17-23 in one of the new Pirate-themed rooms with a water view (yeah!). My question is: with a 5 year old and 11 month old in tow, which section of CBR should we request?

    Hi Brandy!

I had the chance to tour one of the new pirate rooms a few months ago and they look absolutely fabulous. In fact, my family has reservations for a pirate room for our upcoming trip and we can't wait!

The pirate rooms are only located in the Trinidad South section of the resort so if you have a pirate room booked, this is where you'll be. You may wish to request a room on the first floor to make things a little bit easier because there are no elevators at Caribbean Beach. It could get tiring climbing flights of stairs with two small children every day!

Since the resort is so large, there is an internal shuttle bus that circles throughout the grounds all day and can take you from Trinidad South (the "island" farthest away from Old Port Royale) to the food court, gift shop and pool area.

Have a wonderful time on vacation and enjoy your pirate room!
