My family and I are staying at Boardwalk Villas. We are a party of 15, are there any restaurant to accommidate or size? Also, is the bus ride from Boardwalk to Disney Springs on a non-transfer line and how long would the ride take. thanks

    Hi Cynthia,

With 15 people in your traveling party, it seems that you have an epic Disney adventure on the horizon. How exciting!

I travel to Walt Disney World Resort with large groups frequently and have found there are many restaurants that can accommodate a group of 15 or more. Disney's Boardwalk Inn, located adjacent to the villas where you'll be staying, has a number of restaurants that could be a good fit for your group. Trattoria al Forno is perfect for those looking for an Italian-inspired dinner or a truly imaginative breakfast. I once ate there with a group of 30 of my Disney Parks Moms Panel friends. We had a lovely breakfast together. The restaurant staff managed our large group very nicely. If anyone in your party enjoys microbrews and American pub fare, consider making a reservation at Big River Grille & Brewing Works. Of course, the ESPN Club is an excellent choice if you would like to watch an athletic contest as your large group dines.

I encourage you to call (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463, to make your advance dining reservations, especially for a large group.

And, to answer the second part of your question, you need not transfer to another Disney bus as you travel from Disney's Boardwalk Villas to Disney Springs. The ride should take between 10 and 15 minutes depending on whether the driver stops at other Disney resorts en route.

Wishing your entire group many magical memories,
    Jill
