Hello! My family & I will be staying at the Boardwalk Inn in May. I am wondering if it's possible to walk to Epcot and take the monorail from there to the MK? I am not a fan of busses, so am trying to find ways around taking them as much as I can!

    Hi Randy,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  We are on the same page when it comes to taking the busses, although they can be convenient, I'd rather walk for 30 minutes than ride a crowded bus for five!

To answer your question, you can enter Epcot at the International Gateway entrance and walk to the front gates to access the monorail.  Keep in mind that you will need to have park hoppers because valid theme park admission will be required to enter Epcot.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a 20-30 minute walk from the Boardwalk Inn, so technically the only park you would have to take bus transportation to would be the Animal Kingdom.

    Have a great trip!
