    My family is staying at the Boardwalk Inn on February 17 till 21 2024 do you think the hotel will be done with construction then? I am requesting connecting rooms my Granddaughters want to be near Poppy and Grandma what are the chances.

    Hi Peggy, and welcome to planDisney!

    I love that you will visit Walt Disney World Resort in February with your family! It is a great time to visit, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is a beautiful resort; the fact that it is close to EPCOT and has plenty of entertainment and dining options on Disney’s BoardWalk makes it a prime location. 

    While there is currently no word as to when the refurbishments will be complete, you will be happy to know that most Resort hotel amenities will remain available (if the refurbishment continues during that timeframe). However, you may be able to see and hear construction during the daytime hours. Be sure to make the request to have those connecting rooms. While the request is not guaranteed, I have been lucky with my requests on several occasions.

    How adorable is it that your granddaughters want to be near their Poppy and Grandma; the love and enjoyment will surely be abundant.
