Our family will be staying at the Beach Club and wish to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Boma for dinner. What is the best travel option for us to get there? How long should we expect the trip to be?

    Hi Jennifer!

The Beach Club Resort is amazing!  My son and I have great memories of staying there for three nights.  Boma is one of our favorite restaurants as well.  The easiest way to get to Boma from the Beach Club is to take a Disney bus to Animal Kingdom and then transfer to a bus heading to the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  If your Boma reservation is for later in the evening after Animal Kingdom is closed for the day, then you can take a bus from the Beach Club to Epcot or Hollywood Studios and then transfer to a bus heading to the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort.  This trip will take 30 to 45 minutes depending on how long you have to wait for the next bus to come.  If there is a bus waiting at both bus stops then your trip could be shorter.  If you are really pressed for time, then you can always get a taxi (typically under $20.00 with tip) directly from the Beach Club Resort to the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  In a taxi, you are looking at a 15 minute trip.

I hope that your family has a magical dinner at Boma on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
