    Hi, my family and I are staying at the Bay Lake Tower from November 27th through December 18th this year in a standard view room. Where in the hotel are the standard view rooms? Which standard view room location is best to request at check in? Thanks :-)

    Hi Andrew! Congratulations on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of my favorites - nothing beats the location! You can take the monorail to both Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot or enjoy the one of a kind view from "Top of the World Lounge!"

    As the closet resort to Magic Kingdom, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers picturesque views of the Magic Kingdom, tranquil Bay Lake or variety with the standard view.

    Even numbered villas are located on the outside of Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s crescent - the ones you see from the monorail. Odd numbered villas are on the inside and face the pool. Views from standard rooms in Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort include the pool, shuffleboard courts, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, marina, Bay Lake, bocce ball courts, fountain, tennis courts, trees, and partial views of Magic Kingdom Castle

    To up your chances of getting a glimpse of theme park from a standard view you should request an odd numbered villa on the north side in the notes section of your reservation. Please note, this request is not guaranteed but at least it will be noted. Then, about 10 days before your arrival date call the resort directly at 407-824-1000 and a Cast Member can check to see what is available.
