Me and my family are staying at the Art of Animation Resort. What's the best mode of transportation to get to the 4 parks? And when traveling back to the AOA what transportation can we take if the Skyliners are down?

Hi there, Angel! Welcome to planDisney! Let's help you sketch out a picture-perfect vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

A stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort is like stepping right into some of your favorite Disney and Pixar animated films. My favorite part is the Cars section, where you can follow Route 66 through Radiator Springs to see larger-than-life versions of Doc Hudson, Sarge, Sally, Mater, and of course, Lightning McQueen himself!

When it's time to hit the theme parks, you have one of the best transportation options right there at your Resort hotel! You can board a Disney Skyliner gondola and fly to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT (with a transfer at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort). It's part transportation, part attraction, and all fun! For Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and the Magic Kingdom, just head to the front of your Resort hotel and board a bus for your destination.

A bus will also serve as your chariot should the Disney Skyliner experience downtime. This happened to us on a recent visit, and Cast Members posted at the EPCOT station let us know where buses would be picking up Guests to take them back to their Resort hotels. So, Hakuna Matata, Angel! No worries! You'll always have a way to get where you need to go.

I hope this helps you have fun exploring your Resort hotel, as well as all of the other magical experiences Walt Disney World has to offer, Angel. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
