Hello. My family will be staying at the Art of Animation Lion King Suite. My mother is worried about how comfortable the beds are , more specifically the pull out sofa bed. Will an older adult be comfortable on the sofa bed?

    Hi Leah,

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a terrific choice!  I've stayed there several times, and it has been wonderful.  The resort is really fun, the grounds offer really cute photo opportunities, and the rooms are comfortable - ESPECIALLY the Family Suites!

I have stayed in one of the Lion King Suites with my family and my sister's.  I ended up on the sleeper sofa.  I have to say that I do have a bad back and I was a little concerned about the mattress hurting me, but I was too tired from a full day at the parks so exhaustion got me in that bed without argument.  The mattress was not lumpy and I didn't feel any springs.  I did have a good night's sleep and didn't wake up with any more stiffness in my lower back than when I sleep in my own bed at home.  I really feel that your mom will be okay with the sleeper sofa.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel, Leah.  Have a magical vacation!
