My family will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge from March 30 - April 6. My husband and I are planning to have dinner alone one night we are there. What do you recommend for in-room babysitting?

    Hi Annie,

There is some information about babysitting and child services on the Amenities & Services section of the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort page on the Walt Disney World website which you can find HERE.

    You have two options available:-

1/ Simba's Cubhouse which is located on the first floor near the Uzima pool deck area. This is a supervised activity center for children ages 3-12 that is open daily from 4:30 p.m. to midnight. Children are able to play videogames, enjoy dinner and snacks, watch Disney movies and interact with other kids their age, while parents are off experiencing more adult-oriented fare.

2/ Kids Nite Out an independent childcare provider available at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge offers you the convenience of one-to-one in-room babysitting, allowing you the flexibility to enjoy your vacation your way.

To make a reservation for Simba's Cubhouse or in-room babysitting, please contact Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge front desk or Concierge during your visit.

I hope that this information has been of help and that you and your husband manage to enjoy a lovely dinner together during your visit!
