    my family is going to be staying at the animal kingdom lodge at the end of January and I would like to get my wife a "spa day" for Christmas. can I get a gift certificate or gift card for the spa or do they not have that available? thanks.

    First off, I tip my hat to you. Your wife is a lucky woman indeed with a man in her life who is planning to treat her to a special relaxing spa experience during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. I have a hunch you will definitely score a few brownie points this trip!

    TJ, you can most certainly purchase a online Disney Gift Card eGift which you can present to your wife at Christmas and which she will in turn be able to use at any Senses Spa location at Walt Disney World. In fact, I think that's a positively fantastic and thoughtful gift! The two Senses Spas at Walt Disney World each accept Disney Gift Cards as a method of payment. This includes Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Senses - A Disney Spa at Saratoga Springs Resort. 

    While I have never personally experienced the spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, I have attended Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort many, many times. In a word...it's heavenly. Be sure to tell your wife to arrive early for her appointment and to bring a bathing suit so she can enjoy the complimentary hydro relaxation area, including steam room and whirlpool, and heated lounge chairs. Before her appointment even begins, she will be immensely relaxed and feeling pampered and indulged.
