    Hi my family are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and arrive there on aug 11th 2011 We have booked a standard room but hope to be upgraded? what is the best way to do this? we are staying for 17 nights so do you think they might oblige?

    Hi Bernadette,

    You must be so excited now that your holiday is less than 4 weeks away and as you will be staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort for 17 nights, I don't blame you one bit!

    There is certainly no harm in asking a Cast Member politely at check-in if there are free of charge upgrades available. Obviously there are no guarantees that this will happen but you never know your luck.
