My family is staying at All-Star Movies, but we want to ride the monorail and explore other resorts, like the Grand Floridian. Is this allowed? Last time we visited, we were told we couldn't without staying at a resort on the monorail line.

    Hi there, Jessica!

Welcome to planDisney! You must be getting so excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort, it will be here before you know it!

During your stay at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, you’re welcome to explore, dine, and shop at any of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels!  I especially recommend visiting the resorts along the monorail line: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the theming is impressive!

The most direct way to reach the monorail resorts from Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is by taking a bus to Magic Kingdom Park. Once there, hop on the Resort Monorail, which conveniently stops at each resort on the loop: Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Transportation and Ticket Center, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This allows you to easily visit each destination along the way.

Jessica, I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning. Enjoy your stay at the Most Magical Place on Earth and don't hesitate to ask any other questions here at planDisney! Oh and don't forget about the new arrival-day Water Park perk for 2025 guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels. It'll be a splash!

    See ya real soon,
    Candace
