My family and I will be staying at the All-Star Movies Resort, is it OK to bring my own stroller? Or should I rent one? and how does the transportation work? Getting to and from parks and hotels.

    Hi Ashley,

You certainly can bring your own stroller, and I would definitely recommend doing that.  Rental strollers are not allowed outside of the parks.  Bringing your own stroller is helpful for travel around the airport, resort and within the parks.

The bus system at Walt Disney World is super easy and convenient.  There are several pick up points located at your resort.  Each bus that comes by is going to a specific park or Downtown Disney.  Buses arrive continuously throughout the day.  Usually within minutes a bus will arrive to take you to your destination.

When you are leaving the parks, you'll want to stand at the bus stop labeled for your resort.  It's very straightforward, and once you hop on one bus, you'll be a pro.

You will need to fold your stroller when boarding the buses.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
