    My Family is staying at AKL 1/30-2/6/10 in a safari view room. Our 1st trip w/ kids bday celebration 1/3. What are the chances we could get upgraded to a concierge level room? Is their a certain way to make this happen? tried to book,not avail with packag

    Hi, Christine!   While upgrades do happen, they are few and far between.    Usually when upgrades are given, they are taking you from a standard view to a "better" view;  rarely have I heard of being upgraded to the Concierge Level.  

    If you are really wanting Concierge Level, perhaps try to book with a different package where this room type is available.   Otherwise, you can certainly ask at check-in.   Do not count on the upgrade, and if happens, look at it as a little pixie dust floating your way.   Good luck!
