    My family & I are staying at AKL in May 2017 and we want to go to Fantasia mini golf. How would we get there from AKL...?

    Hello Jessica! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    My daughter is fascinated with the mushrooms featured in Disney's Fantasia and tries to find them wherever we go at Walt Disney World Resort. It started with the mushroom topiary at Epcot's International Flower & Garden Festival and continued when she discovered the Hidden Mickey trading pin depicting the mushroom characters found on many Cast Member lanyards (we have 7, and counting). She does not yet know about Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course and I am planning a surprise trip for our next vacation.

    The quickest way to get to Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is by car as there is not a direct route using Complimentary Resort Transportation. However, allow me to suggest a few paths using Disney Transportation that will have you putting your way through tutu-clad hippos and marching broomsticks in no time.

    Take a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to:
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Next, locate the bus traveling to Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels and walk through the resort to Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course.
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios. Then, get on the boat traveling to Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels and walk through the resort to Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course.
    • Epcot. Go through the main gates (requires admission) to the International Gateway, board the boat traveling to Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels and walk through the resort to Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course.
    Whatever route you choose, I hope you have a magically miniature adventure!
