My family and I stayed a PORS a few years ago. We have now bought our first travel trailer. When you see the word "full hookup" does this include electric, cable, water and sewer. We are newbies to the camping world. We love our time @ disney

Hi Michael! I am so excited about your new travel trailer purchase and possible Fort Wilderness vacation. I never dreamed just three years ago we would purchase our motor coach and be playing at Walt Disney World with our pups in tow on a regular basis now. We were newbies as well and kind of jumped in big with a 43' bus but it truly has been one of the best decisions yet.

Fort Wilderness is such a unique and peaceful place to stay while at Disney. You will love the daily sights of deer, turkey, and armadillos as well as the many friendly squirrels who entertain you daily. Most of the sites are indeed full hook-up which means they will have capacity for electricity, water, sewer, cable, and access to high speed internet. Each site also comes with a charcoal grill and a picnic table.

When making your reservation you have the opportunity to request a specific loop. They will ask for your travel trailer size etc as this can make a difference to the site you are assigned. Large big rigs can't make it into some of the sites in certain loops and most require the full concrete pads. All sites are back in in all loops. It is important you share this information so you have the correct site assigned when you arrive.

The Premium Loops are the full concrete loops and can be as big as 24' wide to 60' deep. They are the larger more level pads built to fit the long buses that come in. They will also be the most expensive so if you don't need all that concrete then you have many other great choices. If you wish to be in a certain location close to Settlement Trading Post, Pioneer Hall, Meadows or marina area then request a Preferred loop.

There are cast members on site to assist you in getting into your site if this is your first time. Simply ask them when you check in and they will be glad to help. Your family will love the atmosphere....we spend as much time as possible now in our bus at Disney!
