If My family and I stay at Pop Century resort....can we walk over to Arts of Animation to see Cars or use those pools? I see on the map they are connected.

    Hey Carolyn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your great question!

I love Disney’s Pop Century Resort! My family and I have stayed there more than 10 times — and with every stay we find new things to see and explore! One of our favorite things to do when staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort is taking the Generation Gap Bridge to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. We enjoy looking over Hourglass Lake, visiting the different Disney’s Art of Animation Resort buildings, taking pictures with the fun decor and eating at Landscape of Flavors. Visiting different Resort hotels helps me dream up my next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

While you are allowed to “Resort hotel hop”, you cannot pool hop. You will only be able to access the pools at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. In fact, the Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is gated and only accessible with the touch of a MagicBand. You must be a Guest of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in order for your MagicBand to open the pool gate.

Carolyn, if you have any additional questions, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help you “make a splash” during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
