Ahoy, Camille!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A 7-Night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the
Disney Fantasy sounds practically perfect in every way! With port stops in Tortola, St. Thomas, and Castaway Cay, your cruise is certain to be memorable and magical. My husband and I were married in St. Thomas, so that tropical paradise holds an extra special place in my heart.
I always love taking advantage of the professional photographers onboard because I am usually the photographer, and this frees me up to be in the photos and not behind the camera. Plus, photos are one of my favorite souvenirs from a Disney cruise. My kids even joke at how many times we have to pose for photos with Captain Mickey “because of Mom.” Now I’m on a mission to get photos made with
Captain Minnie!
From the moment you begin your voyage in the cruise terminal to
character meet and greets to
Castaway Cay, there are plenty of opportunities that make the photo package a worthwhile purchase.
The photo packages are stateroom specific and guarantee only one stateroom. But I’d suggest you “Say Cheese” to the photo package. Since you are traveling with Guests from another stateroom, you just have to ensure that at least one Guest from the stateroom with the photo package is in each photo.
I’d even recommend pre-purchasing a package online up to two days before you set sail to secure the best price. Click the link to "Our Cruise Photos" found at
Photography Services on the Disney Cruise Line website for pre-purchase and you'll SAIL AWAY with the best deal.
The onboard photo shop called
Shutters will have both digital and printed photos available each day. For kicks and giggles, our family likes to go by Shutters before or after dinner to check out the newest photos from our daily activities.
Thank you for stopping by to SEA us, Camille! We hope to hEAR from you again soon with other questions.
Happy Sailing!
