Hi Lee!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Choosing my family's stateroom for upcoming voyages aboard Disney Cruise Line is one of my favorite steps in the planning process! Each of the four categories of staterooms is so spacious and really designed with families in mind!
If I'm remembering correctly, I believe you're thinking about setting sail on the
Disney Dream! The beautiful "stars" you saw is a mural of Peter Pan flying through the starry sky! It can be found above the upper-berth pull-down beds when the bed is pulled down by your Stateroom Host/Hostess each evening. It is my understanding that all staterooms on the Disney Dream that sleep four Guests will have the upper-berth pull-down bed (as well as the sofa sleeper that turns into the "lower bunk" underneath).
The next time you visit the Disney Cruise Line website, check out the
Disney Dream Staterooms. Once you select a specific stateroom category, click on the "Read More" link. There you will see a detailed description of the amenities and layout of the stateroom category you selected! A description of the mural can be found under the section titled "Design". This will help you find which staterooms offer an upper-berth pull-down bed and therefor a hidden mural when you make your stateroom selections for your voyage!
I hope your buccaneers are surprised the first night they see the mural of Peter Pan above their heads! It is sure to guarantee them DREAM-y nights of sleep throughout your voyage!
