    My family and i will be starting our trip at Magic kingdom Sunday 3/17/13. looking at the park calendar, the morning welcome show at 8:50 isn't listed. I thought that was done daily. have they stopped it?

    Hi Danielle!

    It sounds like you're an early bird like me.  I love the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show!  I think that's such a fun way to kick off the day.  (Plus the song is pretty catchy too!)

    This is a daily show, but it looks like the online park calendar only posts the schedule for this show for the next week or so.  I checked a few of my sources and was not able to find any information that would lead me to believe that they plan to suspend or cancel this show.  (Thank goodness!)

    As with all impromptu performances around Walt Disney World, or "Streetmosphere," the hours may vary.  However, it's been my experience that the Welcome Show is always 10 minutes before the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to officially open.
