Hey, Shelby! Welcome to planDisney.
It's never too early to start dreaming about your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I have a vacation coming up next month, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't already started thinking about next year's trip.
Shelby, the reason you can't get past December 2023 is that vacation packages are yet to be released for 2024. My best-educated guess is these vacation packages (including room-only reservations) will be released in late spring 2023. Around that time, I'd suggest checking out the
Walt Disney World Resort website and
Disney Parks Blog for any exciting announcements. Once those dates are released, you can go ahead and book your magical vacation.
As you think and dream of your vacation, here are my top 3 bits of advice:
1. If possible, stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. With their legendary storytelling, delightful theming, and world-class customer service, these hotels fully immerse you in Disney magic. As a Guest, you'll be able to take advantage of
exclusive benefits, such as
Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary transportation within the Walt Disney World Resort, dining reservation advantages, and more! You'll also be able to head back to the resort for a dip in the pool in the middle of the day when the weather is hottest and the crowds are biggest.
2. Dine at some of the superb
restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. I try to pick out at least one restaurant to enjoy a special meal. As you do your research, make a note of the ones you'd most like to visit. One of the many benefits of staying on property is the ability to make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your trip plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days). Since restaurants fill up quickly, this means that you are far more likely to secure a table.
3. If possible, try and visit each of the four theme parks during your visit. That might mean getting the
Park Hopper Option on your tickets or getting a 4-Day Ticket. That way you can experience the wonder of Walt Disney World Resort in each theme park.
I hope that's helpful, Shelby. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. Please come and see us again if you have any more questions.
