Our family of 12 is splitting up for a day; half to Disneyland and half to California Adventures. Is there anyway to meet up in Downtoen Disney for a meal and still return to our respective parks. Also, are fireworks visible from Downtown Disney?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Kathleen!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are so excited to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! The absolute BEST way to experience the MAGIC of the Disneyland Resort is with your family! I am so excited for ALL of you!

So, are you ready for some MAGICAL news?! I am very happy to inform you that your family will be able to leave the Disneyland Theme Park they are visiting and meet up with everyone to have lunch or dinner at the Downtown Disney District! Then, everyone can head back to their Disneyland Theme Parks without any issue! WOO HOO! (Just remember that ticket and valid identification confirmation will be required for re-entry.)

I did want you to know that there is not a designated area to watch the fireworks from the Downtown Disney District. You will be able to see some of the higher aerial fireworks, but there will not be a place to watch the fireworks with no obstructions. You can also walk to the Esplanade to have a better view of the fireworks as well.

I hope this information helps you in your planning! If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
