Can my family split up for Disney Park Pass reservations on our trip, or would our reservations need to be for the same park? For example, could my daughter and I visit Disney land park while my husband and son visit Disney's California adventure park?

Hello there, Erin. Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sharing your question with us. I love the endless possibilities when visiting the Disneyland Resort and am delighted to help with your question.

Adventure is out there! How you choose to adventure with your family at the Disneyland Resort is completely up to you. You absolutely have the flexibility to split your party and visit separate parks. Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance of your visit. Once you are within this window, you can make theme park reservations for you and your daughter to visit Disneyland Park while your husband and son visit Disney California Adventure Park. Something to keep in mind, if you are purchasing 1-park per day tickets, you will only be able to visit that one park for the day. If you decide to purchase Park Hopper tickets, you will have the flexibility to switch parks and join your other party when park hopping begins at 11:00 a.m.

There are so many wonderful things happening at the Disneyland Resort, notably the Disney100 Celebration. Your visit may even fall during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. No dates have been officially announced yet, however, many festive celebrations are scheduled to return in 2023. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates and announcements. If you do happen to be at the park during the holiday celebrations, I highly recommend making a point to experience "it's a small world" and Haunted Mansion. Both of these attractions receive a holiday makeover and are especially fun and magical during this time.

I hope this is helpful, Erin. If you have other questions as you continue to plan, please come back to visit us - we love to help. Here's wishing you happy planning and a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
