Hey, Rita and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. September is one of my favorite times of year to visit the place "where dreams come true." Fall decorations festively welcome you down Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park where scarecrows and 176 pumpkins share a ghoulishly cute grin with all the Guests. Make sure to look out for the Mickey-shaped pumpkins. They are so cool.
There are three easy ways to get from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Epcot:
Walt Disney World Bus Service, Minnie Van Service, or car. The Walt Disney World Bus Service is a fleet of 350 buses that travel to all Disney Parks Resort hotels, Disney Springs, theme parks, and water parks. They leave about every 20 minutes from each location. To catch a bus, stroll out to the bus depot and look at the directory to see which corral the bus will be arriving/departing.
Minnie Van Service is a concierge experience where you are transported to your destination by scheduling an enchanted ride with a fantastic Disney driver. The car/van is scheduled through the Lyft app and is only available on Walt Disney World Resort property. Enjoy personal attention as you chat up Disney history and gain tips on the theme parks while listening to an awesome Disney soundtrack. Lastly, you can rent a car or call a third party provider like Uber/Lyft (same company but not the same service as the Minnie Van Service.)
Disney Dad Tip: You will arrive the week after
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I suggest arriving 90 minutes before the theme park officially opens to ride Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run.
Rita, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
