Hi Cecilia,
Celebrating the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort is the most magical way to enjoy the season. My family and I have stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for Christmas, and I can tell you there is no other experience quite like it! We met Santa Claus in the lobby of the resort on Christmas Eve, just in time to take our last-minute requests. Not only that, but Mickey and Minnie both made an appearance donning their best holiday attire. You might see strolling carolers, hear a band playing favorite Christmas songs, or enjoy other resort-specific holiday programs.
In the past, there has been
special holiday dining offered at many of the Disney Resort Hotels. These have included a Christmas Day Brunch, a Christmas Day Feast and other special prixe fixe multi-course dinner menus. However, we don’t currently have information regarding this year’s offerings. Please keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for further announcements about special holiday dining.
If you are looking for dinner recommendations on Christmas Eve, I’d like to suggest Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. Alternatively, I would recommend California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The latter Disney Fine/Signature Dining restaurant offers some truly breathtaking panoramic views of Magic Kingdom Park.
Disney Mom Tip: Be sure to tour the Disney Resort Hotels to view the holiday decorations. The life-sized
Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa must be seen to be believed!
