Hello Jessica! Welcome to planDisney! I’m happy to give you some guidance on planning your family’s vacation!
The short answer is that pricing for theme park tickets and resort hotels depends upon the time of year that you decide to visit. During busy times of the year, prices for park tickets and resort hotels increase. During less busy times, the prices will decrease.
When my thoughts turn to planning my family’s next vacation, I always head to the planning tools offered on the Walt Disney World Resort website. When you go to the website, begin by clicking the “
Places to Stay” tab. Here you can begin to price out a few options. Just be sure to click the “Package” option at the top of the page. That option will allow you to price out a resort hotel as well as park tickets. Rest assured, pricing out options is not a commitment to purchase, so have fun exploring your options!
Jessica, another option is to begin your planning by visiting the “
Special Offers” page of the Walt Disney World Resort website. This will show you all of the money-saving deals that are currently available. This page is updated frequently, so be sure to check often.
Finally, if “doing Disney” on a budget is an important part of your vacation planning, then I recommend exploring some of the
value hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection! My top recommendation is Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! That place is great! It is the “Disney-est” of all of the resort hotels! The theming across the resort is set as The Lion King, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, and Cars! This resort is also conveniently connected to the Disney Skyliner which is a great transportation system that will take Guests to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT!
I hope this is enough advice to get your planning started! Feel free to come back to planDisney with additional questions!
