Aloha, Rosalie!
What can I say, except welcome back to planDisney! Mahalo (that means "thank you" in Hawaiian) for surfing by with your question. Rosalie, see the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me, which is why our family has visited
Aulani Resort several times. Because when the spirit of Aloha meets the magic of Disney, there's no place I'd rather be than riding the Hawaiian roller coaster ride.
Rosalie, there are barbecue grills at
Aulani called Pulehu Place. It is located behind Auntie's Beach House, and there is a picnic table there where you can enjoy your meal. Alternatively, there is typically seating in front of Mama's Snack Shop, which is a short walk away, and there is seating outside of Ulu's Cafe. As both of these are quick service locations, you should be able to enjoy your meal at these locations.
If you need additional groceries, there is a market within walking distance of Aulani, in the shopping plaza across the street. You can also order grocery delivery to the Resort, and there are a few grocery items at
Kelepa's Store at the Resort. Be sure to pick up a box of Honolulu Cookie Co. Cookies for your room. They are my favorite treat, and they make great souvenirs to take home a taste of the islands to family and friends.
The one thing to note, though, is that Aulani can't store perishable items for Guests prior to their arrival. So, I recommend timing your grocery order for when you have access to your room so you can put the perishable items away upon arrival.
I hope this helps you, Rosalie! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, surf back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you. Here at planDisney, we know the way to help you maximize the magic of your vacation.
