    My family will soon be staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Is it true that drawing classes are offered a few times throughout the day? And if so, can "big kids" join in the fun? Some of us really miss The Animation Academy at HS.

    Hey, Amy!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There is nothing more Disney that having a pencil and paper in front of you as you learn how to draw your favorite Disney characters. Kids of all ages are welcome to join the artist and create their own Disney masterpieces at two locations: Disney's Art of Animation Resort and DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park.

    Disney's Art of Animation Resort offers Teach to Draw Disney character drawing class for free at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily. It is usually held in the playroom near the front desk.

    Disney Dad Tip: At DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park at Disney Springs West Side, Animation Academy returns so Guests may learn how to draw a Disney character with an instructor. Classes are 30 minutes long and are held daily from noon to 9:00 p.m. Admission is required into DisneyQuest to participate. Unlike the Teach to Draw at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Animation Academy artwork is performed on a computer.
