Hey Howdy Hey Steven and welcome back to planDisney!
I absolutely loved taking a ride on
Disney Skyliner the last time we were in Walt Disney World Resort. It was such a fun way to see the resort like we never have before. One of the best parts about the Skyliner was that our family of five was able to ride comfortably with only our party in the gondola. For our trip, there was plenty of room to move around and accommodate more if our party was a bit bigger.
As you mention,
each gondola can accommodate 10 guests but is subject to change depending on the needs of the stroller, wheelchair or ECV in each party. Based on my experience, with your party of seven and the ability to close your stroller and carry it, I don't foresee this as being anything that would require your party to be split up. I feel there is enough room in one of the gondolas that as long as you have the stroller collapsed, you should even be able to stow in under the seats in the cabin so you can all ride together. Before you get in line, there are Cast Members to greet you and answer any questions you may have, I would stop by and ask them to be safe.
With Disney transportation options, I often find myself trying to find excuses to ride these modes of transportation more often.
Disney's Riviera Resort makes this especially true as a destination itself rather than just a stop along the way. If you get a chance,
Topolino's Terrace is a great place to catch a meal with the fantastic theming of the restaurant and spectacular views of the resort. If you wanted to just stop by and admire the stunning artwork around the resort, I would also suggest stopping by
Le Petit Cafe for a coffee and a treat. There are so many reasons to head over and check this new resort out and spend the afternoon flying high to get there!
I hope you have a great time on your upcoming trip at the end of the month. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any further questions please let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!
Happy Planning,
Nick
