Hi again, Michelle! Our large family size is actually a big part of why we chose to join the Disney Vacation Club. Once we realized that we would need to rent 2 connecting Resort rooms on each trip, we did the math. We knew that we loved Disney, and we also knew we wanted family vacations to be a part of our kids lives and their memories. We calculated what we would be paying for 8-9 nights in 2 connecting Deluxe Resort rooms, for three vacations to Disney World (going 3 times). We discovered that for about the same price, we were able to purchase Disney Vacation Club which we own for 48 years!! In addition to Disney World, we are able to travel to over 500 places around the world, and these are all Disney approved (so we trust the quality). Granted, we can't seem to pry ourselves away from Disney World...but someday, we'll be able to explore more. We bought the lowest points available (which at the time was 150 points). Our theory was that we would "roll" the points, so that every other year, we would have 300 points to use. We would then go to Disney World every other year. To be honest with you, on the years that we haven't used our points, I book 2 connecting rooms in a Value Resort instead because I like to go every year. However, by rolling the points and having 300 to use every other year, that allows us to book 9 nights in a gorgeous 2 bedroom Villa during the Fall. The number of points required per night change depending on your travel time. For example, Christmas break takes more points than September. We have been thrilled with our purchase, and consider it one of the best decisions we've made. I recommend that you click this link:

In addition, if you have more questions I'd be happy to help,
