Family of six is taking the cruise we arrive July 1st until the 5th is there anything we can do until we need to get our plane at 3pm we're taking the Disney express back to the airport thanks for your help

    Welcome aboard, Anna -

Disembarkation morning always feels like a slow motion morning for me and my family. After 4 days of dining in fabulous restaurants, watching spectacular shows that touch the heart, and coming 'home' to a clean and spiffy room (with chocolates on your pillows) -- who wants to go home? You know you're going to miss all the pampering.

A 3:00 pm flight out of MCO airport is actually an ideal flight departure schedule for a family disembarking from the Disney Cruise ship. You'll do yourself a favor by not jam-packing any other activities in the morning until your flight out. Enjoy the rest of your vacation and have a leisurely morning. You can take your time packing away your day bag -- since your check-in luggage would have already been picked up the evening before, by the porters. On your last evening, don't forget to put out your clothes for your flight home -- don't be one of those passengers leaving the ship in their pajamas  :-).

You can enjoy a full breakfast and take the time to say 'see ya later' to your dining team. If you are one of the last families to leave the ship (around 9am), you'll likely take another 15 minutes or so to go through US Customs and baggage claim. You'll then exit the port and make a left where you will board the Disney Cruise Line motor coaches that will take you to the airport. You'll just need your Key to the World Cards to board the busses, and a Disney cast member will usually direct you where to go. It will be about an hour to get to the airport, depending on traffic along the way. The bus might also make additional airport terminal drop offs. Expect some lines at the airport - that eats up time. If you forgot some souvenirs, there's a Disney EarPort store at the airport to pick up additional items to take home... something to pass the time along with some lunch along the way to your boarding gate.

Wishing you an awesome vacation, Anna!
