    My family of six is going Jan 22 till Feb 1. One daughters bday is Jan 13 just before one daughters Bday is Jan 28, we r there, and mine is Feb 2. I want to celebrate my two girls separate any ideas how? How do I make other 2 kids not feel left out?

    Hi Crystal,

    Wow, that's so awesome of you for making sure that every child gets a chance to celebrate during your vacation. I've got a crazy idea, so let me run it by you to see if it might work:

    Since you'll have the luxury of having so many days at Walt Disney World, how about assigning each member of your family their own day to be the "Big Cheese"?  Here's how it could work:

    The Big Cheese of the Day gets to choose:

    1) The theme park(s) to visit that day;
    2) The attractions and shows to experience that day;
    3) The restaurants to eat at that day; and
    4) One special souvenir of their choice.

    If that would work, then I'd recommend going to either the front desk of your resort hotel or one of the Guest Relations locations at the theme parks and getting some "Happy Birthday" buttons (for the birthday girls - you included!) and some "I'm Celebrating" buttons for the other three members of your family. That way, when it's everyone's turn to be The Big Cheese of the Day, they can wear a special button to let everyone know that they're celebrating something special.

    Here's a bonus idea from your buddy Derek:

    After you arrive at Walt Disney World, you could make a beeline to the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney at hit the Disney Design-a-Tee shop to make custom t-shirts for everyone to wear on their Big Cheese day. It's a ton of fun to pick your own artwork and write your own custom messages on those shirts, plus you can take them with you because they only take a few minutes to print.

    I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you'd like some other ideas and I'd be more than happy to keep the brainstorming session going. Otherwise, I hope you have an awesome vacation!

    Best regards,
    Derek
