Hi Shelley!
Thanks for your question. I, too, have a large family and am always on the lookout for ways to make a Walt Disney World vacation work for us all. I would definitely recommend staying in a Disney Resort Hotel, if possible. Not only are the extra perks (like
Extra Magic Hours) really great for a large group, using Complimentary Disney Transportation makes traveling to and from the Parks a piece of cake.
You have a few options when it comes to choosing a specific hotel. You could split into 2 smaller groups and simply book 2 rooms at any hotel. Or you could check out all the amazing options for
Deluxe Villas that would easily accommodate your group. My family loves
Disney's Old Key West Resort for the times when we have all of us there together (22 and counting!) When we want to be a little closer to Epcot (our favorite Park!) we opt for
Disney's Boardwalk Villas. If you are interested in being on the Monorail line, you might want to think about
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. No matter which Resort Hotel you choose, you can be sure you will absolutely LOVE it. They are all incredible.
Please come back by if we can do anything else to help with your planning. I'm excited you will be visiting soon and send my best magical Pixie-Dusted wishes for a wonderful vacation.
Have a great day!
