Family six (2ad/4kids) planning 1st vacation, 5 days. Not interested in AoA resort, any value resort or two rooms. Where should we stay? Note: we are driving, would get the DD plan and would only go to 3 parks, AK, MK Ep. We also have a budget of $7000

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristen!

Hooray for your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I hope you are having a magical time planning your adventure.

I immediately thought of The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Each cabin sleeps six with a queen bed, bunk beds and a double-sized sleeper sofa. They also boast a kitchenette, complete with toaster, fridge, microwave and stove-top. While you're able to drive to the parks, you can also use the complimentary Disney Transportation. Magic Kingdom Park is only a water-taxi or bus ride away. Epcot is available from a bus or the Monorail (from Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center) and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is available by bus.

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are also located near several restaurants and fun experiences including Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Chip 'N Dale's Campfire Sing-Along.

Have a wonderful vacation, Kristen. If there is anything else we are able to assist you with, please let us know.

    Magical Wishes,

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
