My family and my sister's family will be traveling to Disney next year. It will be 4 adults and 4 children. Which resorts would have enough space? We would like a full kitchen to prepare meals too.

    Hi Wanda,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A trip with extended family to Walt Disney World can be so much fun! Let me offer you some thoughts on accommodations for your trip.

It sounds to me like you will do the best in a Deluxe Villa Resort. These resorts offer larger villas that accommodate larger families. Your family of eight guests would fit in a two-bedroom villa. You will find that a two-bedroom villa has a full kitchen, as well as laundry right in the villa! I agree with you on making some meals in your villa. My family especially loves to have a quick breakfast and then head out to the theme parks.

While all of the Deluxe Villa Resorts are lovely, let me share with you some of my favorites. I love Disney's BoardWalk Villas - this is my home resort with Disney Vacation Club. I love the hustle and bustle of so much to do around Crescent Lake, and the ability to walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios is wonderful. My family also enjoys a stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. We love the sleek and modern feel at this resort, and you can walk to Magic Kingdom! Finally, check out Disney's Old Key West Resort. This resort is spacious and laid-back, with a theme of the Florida Keys.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Wanda! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
