Hi Moms! My family and my sister's family are cruising together. We linked our reservations for dining. How will it work to book excursions/activities? She is the only silver in her room; my family all silver. Can we book our stuff at the same time?

    Hi Maritza!

Oh goodie! You are setting sail in the fall for a Halloween on the High Seas cruise. Having experienced this itinerary a few times, I must say it's one of my favorites because of the fun photo opportunities with Disney characters when they are decked out in their Halloween costumes!

Having cruised with Captain Mickey before does have its privileges! As Silver Castaway Club members, you all will qualify to book your Port Adventures, Palo reservations, spa treatments and other activities at the same time. The Advance Booking Window of the person with the highest Castaway Club level applies. Even if your sister is the only Silver member in her stateroom, she can book her excursions as well as all her family members since they share the same stateroom.

So go ahead and calendar the 90th day prior to your sailing and be ready at midnight if you'd like to grab those reservations. OK, so maybe the midnight thing is not necessary, but I recently did that for our May Mediterranean cruise because I wanted to get my top picks for Port Adventures. Mission accomplished!

Brilliant idea to have already linked your reservations so you will be seated together for rotational dining! Your service team will travel with you to a new dining room each night and will continue to be aware of all your preferences and dietary restrictions. My daughter has a peanut allergy, and it was wonderful to know the servers and dining staff would keep her safe from any peanut products.

Maritza, feel free to drop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have more questions. I promise all treats and no tricks! Wishing you a spooktacular adventure at sea!

    Happy Sailing!
