Ahoy there, David!
Bravo for having a Disney cruise on the horizon! I'm so happy that you have done multiple voyages, and now you are introducing extended family to Captain Mickey. I’m sure you didn’t have to twist your sister’s arm much to convince her to check out
all that’s included with Disney Cruise Line. Here’s to her being hooked on the experience and more sailings together in the future!
I can understand why you want to coordinate all your activities and premium experiences like
Port Adventures,
spa treatments and
Palo reservations with your sister and her family. I’m happy to hEAR that you already knew to have the reservations linked to ensure you get to do the rotational dining together. It will also make scheduling overlapping experiences easier than if you were not linked.
That said, just because your stateroom reservations are linked, that does not mean that your sister and her family will be able to book their premium activities at the same time as you and your family who have a higher
Castaway Club level. As a first time Disney cruiser, her advance booking window will open 75 days before the sail date. Depending on what level your Castaway Club level, you will be able to book your premium reservations either 120 days (Platinum), 105 days (Gold), or 90 days (Silver) before sailing.
You could go ahead and make your arrangements to secure the bookings you want, and your sister and her family can then try to get the same one when their advance booking window opens. If there are any issues, you could
contact a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist before boarding or check with
Guest Services once onboard. Be mindful that for now, Guests should use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to schedule an appointment with Guest Services.
David, have a MAGICal time at sea with your family!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
