Hi - My family and my sister's family (4 adults, 5 under-10 kids) are staying at Kidani in May. I originally booked the 2-bed but was concerned about the space, so upgraded to a 3-bed - is the 3-bed the same as a Grand Villa? Do you think it's worth it? Tx

Howdy Elizabeth!  Thanks so much for your question!!

You are going to love visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village.  We will be there this summer and cannot wait!!!

This is just my humble opinion, but I think you absolutely made the best choice by upgrading.  The 3-bedroom is the Grand Villa and Grand Villa truly is the perfect name!!!

The Grand Villas are sometimes very difficult to book so I'm excited that you were able to secure your reservation!

We typically travel with 6 people (4 adults and 2 children (4 and 6)) and stay in 2-bedroom villas.  We have considered a Grand Villa with our much smaller party size just to give everyone a bit more room.  I think you will be much happier with the Grand Villa.  They are very spacious and you will love having the additional bedroom and bathroom.

There is also an additional sitting area upstairs that might make a great play area for all of the kids.

I know the Grand Villas are more points but we made the choice to stay in a Grand Villa at Saratoga Springs 6 years ago.  We had 7 people in our party that trip and selecting the Grand Villa was one of the best decisions we could have made.  It was just like being at home...only better!!!

Thanks again for your question and please let me know if you need any further information as you plan your vacation.

    Have a magical day!
