Welcome to planDisney, Melissa. I love to meet my geographic neighbors and share our love of Disney!
I'm so sorry to hear that you got sick and I hope you're feeling better soon. Once you are, I hope you can find your way back to the
Walt Disney World Resort...because believe it or not, it's waiting for you. This year is shaping up to be a great one with new restaurants like the
Cake Bake Shop Restaurant by Gwendolyn Rogers on
Disney's BoardWalk opening soon and new experiences like
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in
Magic Kingdom Park opening this summer. And so many of those classic experiences that made your last trip so special will be waiting too. What a great pick-me-up!
If you have unused tickets in your account but you are not yet ready to reschedule your vacation, you do not have to do anything at this time. In fact, you should still see them in your account. To check, log onto your
My Disney Experience mobile app, select the 3 horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner, select "Tickets and Passes," and you should see those unused tickets. When you're ready to reschedule, select the ticket you'd like to change and tap "Change Ticket." Select a new start date and follow the prompts to complete the process. Just note that if the new ticket is more expensive, you will be responsible for paying the difference at the time you change the date and if it's less expensive, you will not receive a refund for the difference.
Now, Melissa, I'm not a doctor, but I hear that a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down, so maybe you could employ that advice if you need to take some medicine to get better. But one thing I
definitely am is a planDisney Panelist, so if you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out!
I feel a surge of deep satisfaction when I help a fellow Guest,
Matt
