My family and I set sail on the Halloween on the High Seas cruise on Sept 10th. This is our first cruise ever. My children don't know about it yet. We are surprising them when we arrive at port. Will we have a pirate night and mouse-querade? Tips?

    Hello Rebecca!

Thanks for sailing by!  How exciting that your children will have an opportunity to celebrate Halloween early on a Disney Cruise Line voyage!  Halloween on the High Seas is one of my family's absolute favorite specially-themed cruises.  Your voyage will be filled with incredible events including:  Haunted Stories of the Sea, pumpkin carving, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream, character meet-and-greets, and many other Halloween-themed activities.  I recommend bringing your costumes on board, so that your kids are ready to trick-or-treat and enjoy the festivities.  Mickey's Mouse-querade Party is the highlight of this spook-tacular voyage for both young sailors and adults alike.  My kids are teens now and still have a blast!  In addition to the Halloween activities, you will still be able to enjoy Pirate Night festivities, so be sure to prepare yourselves for an magical trip!
