Hi there, Burnie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for dropping by and submitting another excellent question!

We’ve finally received the news we’ve all been waiting for: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be opening at Walt Disney World Resort on August 29th, 2019! In the very near future, Guests will be able to embark on their very own galactic adventure and immersive themselves in the universe of Star Wars! I don’t know about you but I am incredibly excited to experience this all-new land!

It looks like you and your family planned your vacation at the perfect time! Disney’s Hollywood Studios is currently undergoing a massive re-imagining including the opening of Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It’s no wonder you and your family are excited to visit this bustling theme park!

You will definitively be able to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios during your stay! I would recommend planning on arriving early in order to experience all the new attractions. This may help you navigate some of the crowds but, most importantly, this will allow you to experience Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the cooler part of the day. Even during September, the summer heat in Orlando may still be a concern so be sure to come prepared with water and other hydrating beverages!

Hopefully, this information will maximize the magic you and your family experience during your September vacation!
