My family and I are going in September, but both my kids have special needs and are in the Edge club age group. What accommodations do they have in that age club for autistic kids & how do I make sure the counselors know.

    Ahoy, Nicole!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!

Let me start by saying that Disney Cruise Line goes above and beyond to make sure that every Guest, young and old, is able to experience the most magical vacation possible. The staff is highly trained, and accustomed to working with families that require special services during their cruise.

I encourage you to contact the DCL Special Services Team directly at (407)566-3602 to discuss your family's specific needs. The super-nice folks at Special Services can answer any questions you might have regarding the Youth Clubs, specifically Edge. They can provide you with plenty of information, but more importantly with peace of mind that your children will have an amazing time on their Disney Cruise. You can also reach them by sending an email to SpecialServices@disneycruise.com.

Please let us know if you have further questions as you prepare for your cruise - we're happy to help in any way.

Have a magical day! - Diane
