My family and I are going on our second visit to WDW from 9/18/15-9/26/15. Our first trip was Nov. and Dec., so it wasn't rainy, or too hot. I know it will still be hot, but will it still be the rainy season in September? Will we need ponchos?

    Hi Lisa!

A Floridian once told me that you can pretty much expect a "chance" of showers almost every day in the summer months there, and I believe her!  I always start checking the forecast a week or so before our trips, and it seems like every time we go in the summer the forecast looks bad.

BUT, the good news is that those showers often miss you altogether,  or they are very brief.  I kind of enjoy them because they tend to cool the temperatures off (at least for a bit, anyway!).   There will be an occasional day when the rain lasts for longer periods, but it's best to just embrace it and keep on playing in the rain!

They do sell ponchos all over the resort area, but it's not a bad idea to bring your own.  I like to run to the dollar store before trips and get the really cheap ones that are folded up small and fit easily in a small bag.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your trip.
