My family will be sailing on our first disney cruise the Disney Dream in May. I have read that there are supervised play areas for children. Our son is 2 and I dont want to leave him, are parents allowed to stay in the play areas with their children?

Hi, Christina! You're going to think you're dreaming from the moment you step aboard Disney's Dream! It truly is a wish come true for guests!

For the tiniest travelers, It's a Small World Nursery is available for an additional fee so that parents can enjoy more grown-up activities separately from their children on the ship. Reservations can be made prior to sailing or on Embarkation Day on a first-come, first-serve basis.

During boarding, there is usually an Open House for all the youth clubs where parents can come and experience the area before reserving a spot for their child. You can certainly enjoy the nursery with your son then, and you can check your Personal Navigator for other opportunities to share family activities together in other areas of the ship. In addition, should you decide to make a nursery reservation, you can check on your child without disturbing him by taking a glimpse, unnoticed, into the nursery's main play area through a window.

I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
