Hi there, Kristen!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, fellow Texan! It appEARs that you have cruised the Caribbean with Captain Mickey previously, but boy oh boy are you in for a treat on your Alaskan adventure this summer! I was just telling my husband this morning that I want to do another
Alaskan itinerary because there is just so much to do and see and we didn’t get a chance to do it all last time (but, that could be because we visited Alaska with a 16-month old and a three-month old)!
I contacted Disney Cruise Line to inquire about the cookout and unfortunately, they do not have any information about the onboard activities as they are always changing – sometimes by year, sometimes by specific voyage for one reason or another. Because of this, a schedule of onboard activities is usually not available until you arrive at the port for embarkation. Make sure you have the most recent version of the
Navigator app on your smartphone when you set sail, so you have the most up to date schedule and information for your specific itinerary.
With the 2019 itineraries replacing the Tracy Arm with a crossing through the Endicott Arm with views of the Dawes Glacier you will get the chance to see that undoubtedly beautiful site! A great way to experience this day is by booking a brunch reservation at
Palo for that day! You will have a great view of the incredible scenery around you and will enjoy a delicious meal with spectacular service.
Have a WONDERful and memorable adventure!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
